WELL!  I'm excited... not only are we very close to seeing the results to the Drunk Duck awards (fingers crossed... for myself and others!), but also, I just wrapped up a new print edition: Spacebound! #1.   

Spacebound! will be a double feature sci-fi comic that features the first two chapters of "Terror in Sector Five" along with a an all new Alibi Jones story by Mr. Mike Luoma (you can find various works of his here on Drunk Duck as well).  So that should be fun.  Getting it printed up just in time for APE (which feels very soon but is not for another month and half, actually).  That's yet another exciting thing on the horizon.  APE is always a blast!

Anyhow - It appears that the Phantom Lord is not as thorough as he might have thought.  Peter doesn't seem to be the nicest guy anymore either, and working for the Dark Mastor, one has to wonder what his motives might be, feeding the Phantom Lord this information. 

We'll see more of both of them coming up, but next week we head back to the Dark Universe to find out more from Fraction about the Destonian Log Book from the future.  If you want some background info on the Destonians, check out the prelude and epilogue from the previous story where we check in the with the Destonian U.

Thanks for letting me take a vacation everyone...  and OH!  While I was away... Nominated for Best Sci-Fi?!?!?  Aw shucks!  Thanks everyone! HUGE honor.  And BIG BIG BIG congrats to everyone else who got nominated!  Some of my favorites ended up on that list, including some notable Mastorism fans.  So good job everyone, and a big thank you to everyone who voted to nominate Mastorism as a finalist.   I'm a very happy web-cartoonist right now.

AND ON TO CHAPTER 3! 

So wait, what's all this talk about Mike?  Remember that toaster* I offered on page 34?  The discrepancy I asked you all to find?  Well, go back and look (since no one got it):  Mike didn't go through the portal! How did he survive?  So what's he doing hanging out back in Mastorism U?  Sounds pretty important!  I guess we'll find out.

So get ready for Chapter 3 here... there's going to be a bit of exposition coming up, so there's some fair warning, but I think you will probably enjoy it-- A lot of stuff will get explained that will tie together everything that's come before and (with luck) propel us into the final showdown!  Moo ha ha!

Drunk Duck Awards are HERE!

Hey all, the Drunk Duck awards are upon us!  The DD awards are a user organized annual awards that celebrate the best comics on Drunk Duck (and there are a lot of great ones).  You have to be a registered user to vote, so if you are (or want to be) and would like to vote for Mastorism or any of the other fine comics at Drunk Duck, I encourage you to do so!
